42KW On Grid System In Philippines For Factory
Philippine Energy Secretary Rafael Lotilla said “ the country could face power shortages in the first half of next year, with difficulties stemming mainly from a shortage of natural gas “ the 《Philstar newspaper》 reported on 10 October. Power shortages may occur in major cities after the weather turns warmer in the second quarter of next year.
The Philippine government is therefore encouraging companies to set up self-generation facilities; to focus on energy efficiency and to encourage energy conservation.
Following this report, many Filipino customers are paying attention and planning to install and use solar systems.
One customer from Quezon, Philippines, runs a local factory and uses a lot of electricity every day.
The shortage of electricity would cause the factory's machinery to not run at the usual time, resulting in lower output of goods and further reducing the factory's profitability.
The customer therefore approached us, Namkoo Power, in the field of solar systems to design a solar system for his factory.
The client provided us with CAD drawings of the roof of his factory and a large number of pictures, as well as the factory's electricity bill to check the average monthly electricity consumption.
Namkoo Power's electrical engineers looked up the average sunshine hours and the angle of sunlight in the area based on the google address of the factory provided by the customer. In conjunction with the CAD drawings of the factory, we designed the solar panels for the roof of the factory (calculated that a maximum of 42kW of solar panels could be placed) so that the solar panels could generate electricity at maximum efficiency.
Namkoo Power's structural engineers designed the type of solar racking to be used according to the structure and tilt angle of the client's factory roof, and adjusted the tilt angle of the racking according to the angle of exposure.
After determining the initial configuration of the system, a detailed description of the system was given to the client. The client was very satisfied with this.
Namkoo Power's electrical and structural engineers drew up the electrical connection diagrams for the 42KW on-grid solar system and the assembly drawings for the racking structure.
After a production time of 15-20 days and a shipping time of about 10 days, the customer was able to get the system ready for production. The customer received the complete set 42KW on-grid solar power system (with all accessories) after one month.
The local engineers and workers were able to install the system with the drawings provided by us and put it into operation.
The customer's factory now has a steady supply of electricity every day and a steady output of goods. In the return on investment document, it was calculated that the customer would have a payback in 3.5 years with this system. In the fourth year the electricity will be free of charge.
